The Jarvis family was so thoughtful and let some people in the neighborhood and ward know that we were leaving. I was shocked to see the support of those around us. I thought we might say good-bye to a few families, but was overwhelmed by all those that came. We will never forget our wonderful neighbors and hope to always stay in touch with everyone. Thank you all for your friendship and kindness you showed our family while we were up here in Portland. We hope to return and see you all!

Feel The Love
Really. Can you feel it?

He's 6
On Sunday Jonah turned 6. We had Cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then he opened presents from family.
He and Savannah came up with the idea that opening presents with a garden tool would be really great.
They soon found out it was easier to use your hands. Jonah loved the Wii Nerf Game, R/C boat and the Jenga game from his grand parents.
The Whoopee Cushion in the card was pretty cool too.
That night Jonah picked hot dogs for dinner. Afterwards, the Jarvis and Egan family came over to eat the cake that Jonah decorated. Great weather and great party. Happy Birthday Jonah!
On Tuesday Jonah had a friends party at Out Of This World. Lily, Alex, Zane, and Natalie all came.
They had a great time playing on all the indoor slides, bouncers, cars, etc.
Jonah loved all his gifts. The new fascination. . . "Bakugans." I had never heard of them, but good thing his friends had. Thanks for coming everyone!

Saturday Market
We are trying to do some fun things before we leave Portland. So on Saturday we went to the Saturday Market in down town Portland with our friends the Jarvis's. I can't believe we had never been before. This definitely would have been a "must do" when we had visitors come into town.
Portland Saturday Market is the largest continually running open air crafts market in the U.S.. Everything there is homemade- it's so fun to see the creativity and talent that so many people here have. It is always a cultural experience, with the people, food, music and live performers. We had the BEST Greek sandwich, and they had some of the cutest most unique clothing. I could have stayed forever, especially if I had more money and no young boys :). (Andrea does this journaling seem familiar? If you didn't notice I copywrited your blog. Thanks.)
Jacob spent most of the time dragging on the ground. He is smiling here, but he was so stubborn while we were at the market.
