Drive to Hagg Lake-
We consider it a miracle when Dustin gets home from church before dark, so today was a miracle and we took advantage of it. We went on a drive to a beautiful lake in Forest Grove and the kids had a great time playing on the steep hill by the waterside. Seems simple but it was fun to have a family sunday.

Camie and Sophie came to visit.

It is not very often that family (or anyone) comes to visit, so we were all so excited to have Camie and Sophie come stay with us for a couple of days. We can't say we did a whole lot but it was really fun hanging out, shopping, and eating.

Portland Children's Museum

One of the kids favorite places to hang out is at the Children's Museum. There is so much for them to do (rubber pit, construction, grocery store, library and clay just to name a few).

When we are there, Savannah likes to pace herself with the hope that we will be able to do everything. Unfortunatly this never happens. As for Jonah, well he would probably just stay in the "water" zone the whole time if he chose. And Jacob just loves to be with everyone doing whatever. It is only when we have to go that we run into any problems.

Anyhow, here are a few pictures of the kids with their friends Jack, Lily and Taylor, getting wet, drying off and getting ready for the theater.

Two Years Later. . .

After receiving plenty of requests from friends and family to update our blog, we are officially going to try to communicate with the outside world again (two years later).

Our family moved to Oregon in June of 2006. We live in the Rock Creek area (about 10 minutes West of Portland). Since then we opened a Costa Vida restaurant about 5 minutes away from our home.

Savannah is now 7 and is in first grade. She enjoys playing soccer, dress-ups, dolls and especially Cat. Jonah is 4 1/2, goes to preschool and loves to ride his bike, scooter, skateboard and anything else that moves. Jacob is 2 and is the smiliest boy we know (other than when he is throwing a tantrum).

Here is a picture of our family in Sun River, Oregon over the Thanksgiving Holiday 2007. Stay tuned for more. . . just in case we post something new in the next two years.
