Jacob's Birthday Party

Well two months later we finally did it.  Jacob got a birthday party!!!  He described his Lego party as "The Best Party Ever."  #9yearsold #14boys 

Jaker's Pumpkin Patch

I had fun with this little guy at Jaker's Pumpkin Patch today.  He loved the maze and corn pit.  He didn't like the loud geese, and wouldn't try the slides.

Bedtime Stories

Oh how I love my time with Liam when I put him to bed at night.  Sometimes I am so tired and I don't want to, but the rewards I get from it can't be measured.  We begin by brushing his teeth, going potty, getting on Jammie's and then on to books.  Tonight we read 3 books:  Thank You Thank You Thanksgiving, The Wide Mouth Frog and The Tickle Monster.  He just smiles and giggles through it all.  He then asks for Primary songs (tonight was a baptism song), and then I tuck him in like my parents use to do with me. Finally, when I turn out the lights and turn on the night light we have to tell each other secrets.  His are usually long Once Upon A Time stories, mine are more like I Love You.  He tries to keep this going as long as possible until I leave the room, or I kindly threaten to take his night light if he gets up ;)  Man I am sad this is my last little guy I get to do this with.  The kids are growing up way too fast!

Halloween 2014

Halloween this year was one for the books, but one where I forgot to take good pictures.First, Dustin woke up and surprised us all by shaving off his beard and having a costume planned and ready to go.  He took first place in the voting at work and I think he scared everyone ;)

Since Dustin came up with something, I quickly went through the kids dress-ups and found cat ears and a tail so I had a costume of my own.  For the daytime errands Liam was Muscle Man.

For nighttime trick-or-treating Liam became Buzz Lightyear.

This is liam and his best friend Lumia.  I secretly hope he marries her.  She is a doll.

Jonah was once again the funny guy, and decided to be Minnie Mouse.

Jacob lost most of his Indian costume, because "it is just too hard to run in."

Savannah didn't want to dress up, so instead Dustin arrested her for vandalism.😳

We had a great time with most of the Murphy family for Fall Break at Abby and Pappy's condo in St. George.  Swimming, boating, playing, late nights, Swig and Pizza Factory were the highlights.  Thanks for a great week Abby and Pappy!!!

Jonah's loved every minute of football this year.  They had a rough season, but he looked forward to going to 2 hour practices each day, and can't wait for next year to begin.  

Sock Superman

Liam was MIA for a bit and returned as Sock Superman.  "If anyone needs anything I can get it, because I am Sock Superman!!!"

Little Red

Jacob had his second grade class play.  He was a funny and awesome narrator!  Great job Jacob!

 

Honor Student

Savannah got a 4.0 for all four terms of seventh grade at Maple Mountain Jr High.  So proud of our little academic All-Star :-)

Pinewood Derby

Jonah and Jacob had a great time competing Tuesday night!  Jonah's car was faster but Jacob won "Most Awesome Car."  Both left happy :)

President's Award

Yesterday Dustin's company,KapStone Paper and Packaging, had their President's Awards dinner in Portland.  They flew us up there to honor those who were receiving awards.  I am grateful for my husband who works so hard, and excels in his job as Regional Financial Controller and who was able to be honored that night.  What made it even better was having a great boss and wonderful co-workers honored as well.  Such a fun event with so many wonderful friends!  And so grateful for Nana and Papa for taking care of the kids, throw up and all, so we could get away.

Never Stops Moving

Having a fun day at the park with this little guy.  He never wants to go inside, and now I think we are going to be throwing leaves down the river for the next two hours.  Love him!

Ice Breaker Tournament 2014

This past Presidents' Day weekend we went to St. George for Savannah's soccer tournament.  The boys had a lot of fun swimming and playing at a little farm during the games.

The team didn't have any wins but the girls had a blast playing soccer, going out, swimming, not sleeping and shopping.  (Kate, Ana, Lauren, and Asia all stayed with us at Abbie's condo).

Cutest Team Ever!  Julianna, Megan, Missy, Lauren, Kate, Ana, Shilyn, Jenny, Abbie, Asia, Savannah and Jillian.  The team also has a pretty cute coach!  Coach Cochran :)
