Jaker's Pumpkin Patch

I had fun with this little guy at Jaker's Pumpkin Patch today.  He loved the maze and corn pit.  He didn't like the loud geese, and wouldn't try the slides.

Bedtime Stories

Oh how I love my time with Liam when I put him to bed at night.  Sometimes I am so tired and I don't want to, but the rewards I get from it can't be measured.  We begin by brushing his teeth, going potty, getting on Jammie's and then on to books.  Tonight we read 3 books:  Thank You Thank You Thanksgiving, The Wide Mouth Frog and The Tickle Monster.  He just smiles and giggles through it all.  He then asks for Primary songs (tonight was a baptism song), and then I tuck him in like my parents use to do with me. Finally, when I turn out the lights and turn on the night light we have to tell each other secrets.  His are usually long Once Upon A Time stories, mine are more like I Love You.  He tries to keep this going as long as possible until I leave the room, or I kindly threaten to take his night light if he gets up ;)  Man I am sad this is my last little guy I get to do this with.  The kids are growing up way too fast!

Glue-an-ator

"Mom, this is my Glueanator and I am going to get glue all over you."  Someone watches a little too much Phineas and Ferb, but I love it!

Sock Superman

(Liam playing with Hayden and Lumia)
Liam was MIA for a bit and returned as Sock Superman.  "If anyone needs anything I can get it, because I am Sock Superman!!!"

Never Stops Moving

Having a fun day at the park with this little guy.  He never wants to go inside, and now I think we are going to be throwing leaves down the river for the next two hours.  Love him!

Don't Grow Up

Picture taken by my very talented sister in law Nina at 2 weeks old

Today Jacob is celebrating Liam's one month birthday. I seriously can't believe it has been a month since Liam joined our family. He has been such a joy in the house. He has gained about 3 pounds and no longer has that new born look. I want it to stop. I am cherishing this baby stage.

Liam is awake more often, which means he needs to be held more often. Yes he is one of those. The child that expects a lot of attention, in your arms being bounced. But as long as I don't plan on getting things done I am alright. So I think that will be my plan for the next six months. Holding him in a messy house. :)

While he wants a lot of attention while awake, he is starting to sleep well at night. He is almost up to 6 hours. Yea! During the day he sleeps on and off as well. So I won't complain about not getting things done, in fact I quite enjoy holding him so much. It is just hard when I need to make a bed, fix a meal or help one of the other kids. Luckily Dustin has been a great help when he is home.
