Yesterday Dustin's company,KapStone Paper and Packaging, had their President's Awards dinner in Portland. They flew us up there to honor those who were receiving awards. I am grateful for my husband who works so hard, and excels in his job as Regional Financial Controller and who was able to be honored that night. What made it even better was having a great boss and wonderful co-workers honored as well. Such a fun event with so many wonderful friends! And so grateful for Nana and Papa for taking care of the kids, throw up and all, so we could get away.

The Great Ride

My dad titled this blog when he sent me some pictures of Dustins "greatest day ever!" Seriously I think this topped having children. My Parents gave Dustin a gift certificate to rent a Harley Davidson for a day for his birthday. Yes, back in December. And he has been looking forward to it ever since. Well in September his dream came true. My dad and brother in law Jess couldn't pass up on the opportunity as well. The first night the couples all rode the Harley's to go out to dinner and then the following day the boys rode to Mirror lake. They said the weather and ride were great. Anyway here are some pictures.

A Penny Saved
Lately, I have been a little coo coo about saving money and one way I thought we could do this was by turning down the heat a couple of degrees. Well after being upset at Dustin one day for not putting on a sweater (Dad are you proud of me? :)) instead of turning up the heat he proved his point.
I have to admit I was laughing hysterically and let him turn on the fireplace.
