After attending Stake Conference on Sunday we decided to take advantage of the day by going out to Astoria. On the way we had a picnic at a park, went to Longview to see Dustin's jobsite at Longview Fibre, and then enjoyed some of the sites in Astoria.
We went to the Astoria Column where the views were incredible.
Behind the kids is the Astoria-Megler Bridge. It is 4.1 miles long and yes we drove it. On the way back to Porland we drove on the Clatsop beach in Gearhart. It was a windy and cold, but the kids had their heads out the window as we took one last drive on the beach, spraying through the water.
